Default Sirius XM (Sat Radio)... is it standard

I recently purchased a 2009 XF think that I could transfer my Sirius over to the car but found that the Sat Radio option does not show on the audio screen, was it an option back in '09 or is there a way of programming it for Sat radio, there is a typical sat radio antenna on the rear of the roof.
I e-mailed Jag Canada but no response from them.

Try emailing the VIN to jagcrc@jaguarlandrover.com and requesting a build sheet.

On the one they sent me the SiriusXM showed up as ·SATELLITE DIGITAL BROADCAST

Not sure if it was an option in your market, but if it does not show up on the audio screen its not fitted. Same issue with DAB option here. DAB can be retrofitted, but not through dealer, you need to find someone with SDD and knowledge to fiddle with CCF files.
I'd guess the same is true for SatRadio, but you'll likely need to add the satradio module, add some cabling and change the antenna on the roof as they are not all having all options in by default.
