Steering wheel swap - how difficult?
Guys,
I'm considering buying an aftermarket/custom XF wheel that while it still looks very stock the wheel is D shapped, sculpted and both leather and alcantara (and thicker). While it's rather expensive I'm considering springing for it as I don't really love the wheel in my XFR.
Has anyone done a wheel swap before? I'd swap on my airbag and then send my core back in for exchange. I assume its a fairly straightforward swap - any ideas anyone? I'm fairly handy/mechanical and have a full set of hand tools available.
Thoughts?

the thread I post above shows how. And it is a face lift steering wheel going on a pre face lift. Everything will work fine as long as the steering wheel you purchase has the same functions as yours.
