Default Supercharged simple mods?

Are there any simple, non expensive, NON warranty voiding mods I can do to my 09 s/c XF to spruce it up a lil? or are most just happy the way it is?

I assume you are talking about engine performance mods. If so, the easiest mod on a supercharged engine is to alter the pulley. Oversimplified, a smaller pulley spins faster, more boost. Warranty issues? Yes, if anything goes wrong, they will blame it on the mod and likely refuse to pay. Probably engine performance mod and no effect on warranty are mutually exclusive. It's true that the mfr has to show that the mod caused the failure, but they probably have more resources than you do, so proving the contrary against their experts will be tough or at least very expensive.

Anyway, for mods, check out http://www.arden.de/en/ and XF Performance - Jaguar Performance Parts.

Oh yeah, mods and non-expensive are probably mutually exclusive, too. The engine is already highly tuned, so extracting more out of it won't be cheap or easy, although those are relative terms so what's expensive to someone others might consider cheap.

You should also consider a tune or re-map of the engine computer. At least it won't be readily visible.

Are you saying Jag wouldn't know I tuned the engine computer? I thought once they plug it in that it would show?

What about that 1.5lb pulley? Says 20-25 hp upgrade... Thoughts?

My XFR is going in this Friday for a pully change, freer breathing exhaust and dyno tune (re-mapping ecu). everything should be done by midweek. I am hoping for somewhere around 75 rwhp gain. The pully and exhaust come from Mina Gallery. I have another thread that i started a while ago about this. I'll let everyone know about the outcome after the dyno is done.

I think that ECU reflash can be reverted if you need to go to the dealer. In fact I'm sure of it, since I've done it on my VW GTi (turbo). ]
Check with the tuner; they will advise you further.
Pulley would have to be replaced, since it's visually detectable.

Easiest mod that won't void warranty, albeit maybe not the cheapest, is to trade your 09 in on a 2010.
