Default Two questions - AM radio and replacing audio control to USB

Hi there,
I have two questions.
1) I have jaguar XF 2010. Everything is great except the AM radio signal. There is a lot of crackling on all stations everywhere I drive. FM is beautiful, but AM is actually rather poor. Is this something common with Jaguars of that time and anything that can be done about it.
2) I have an audio port (AUX) in the centre console. Mine does not have a USB port. I see you can buy ones like this :
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/39295843...=1333657101007
Are you able to tell me if it's possible to take out my current one and put one of these in? Or does my head unit lack the ability to interface with (eg) a USB stick loaded with MP3s?
Cheers
Matt
