I have a '14 XF Sportsback and getting distortion from the USB connection when playing from my iPod

 

I have no issues with my iPod Nano 7th gen on my 2013 XF SCV8.


I use a 12 inch USB lighting cord.


But I have had to have the USB jack/port replaced under warranty a year ago due to the USB cable being very loose and having an intermittent connection over bumps and such.


They replaced the audio connection panel in the center console and it works great now.
