Having rebuilt this 2010 5.0 s/c from the ground up new chains, guides, valves etc and now running is there an intake timing issue that's causing my problem?
I get p0308, p0316, sometimes p0306. I have swapped coils, injectors , plugs and issue stays with cyl 8. Cyl 6 is ok most of the time. Obd misfire counter is #8. I have smoke tested intake and swapped maf sensors all ok.

Gap tool reading at hot idle
94.5 deg bank 1 intake. Exhaust 118 deg.
88.8 bank 2 intake, Exhaust 119deg

Not getting any timing correlation codes, however fuel trims are negative stft is - 7.81% bank 1 and -9.38% bank 2.

Am I in trouble with bank 2 intake compared to bank1 is it a tooth out on the intake sprocket bank 2 ?

Just a guess here? Were the VVT's changed out? They have been reported to be fragile and can fail from handling.
Were the PCV diaphragms replaced when the SC was off?

Yes PVC diaphragms replaced. smoke pipes all tested ok . Didn't change vvt

 

did you skip timing, if so i hope you didn't bend a valve

 

Did you time the high pressure fuel pumps properly ?
