I also preferred the stock look and mine got welded to the VMK10-250 that has a 2.5 outlet without issue. Packaging wise I would choose one of the shorter models instead, the longer ones makes the bends too sharp coming off under the diff. Just make sure it is single outlet if adapting the stock tip.
Are you keeping the center resonator? If yes then you don't really need mufflers. These cars sound great with only the back boxes deleted, just substitute sections straight pipe. My varex run open full time since install which is same as straight basically, volume levels not too much, not too little. Just my opinion, YMMV. Varex mufflers are pricey, save your cash until you find the delete setup not loud enough and then splash out along with the resonator delete. I got mine because I plan to go all the way eventually, no crackle and pops on decel with the resonator in place, on the SV8 at least.
The center resonator does most of the sound and drone suppression work in this cars exhaust I believe. The varex in open state is basically a straight pipe like I said and it sounds like in that video. To me it's just right and I wish I was getting this advice before I went with the mufflers. Besides the cost, the varex is also way heavier than one might expect, hanging two here on a car that is already a fat pig. And this probably doesn't need to be said, but don't buy the ridiculously priced Paramount kit if you go this route. The right exhaust shop can bend you a couple pipes and weld tips for less than a couple hundred probably.
Pictured below is overkill, I already dug up this snap so for reference the stock tips do weld up to the varex to answer your original question.
