hey,
what USB/bluetooth dongle do you use, the one I'd use for the range rover before doesn't work with it, I've found. that the XJ's only stream music with crisp sound, so what dongle should I get, because when I stream music the quality isn't the best with some songs

Hey,
I read some articles which mentioned how the quality is much worst, and the EMF exposure messes with your brain and hormones and can cause infertility: https://articles.mercola.com/sites/a...f-dangers.aspx

The trunk not opening may be because of wiring. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-button-74403/
First thing is to make sure you are not in valet mode, which locks the button so that when you valet the car they don't have access to the trunk.

By the way, looks like you got a well cared for XFR. Congrats!
Many reputable dealerships who sell Jags do a service before you buy it, as they typically have a short warranty period with the car.
I would highly recommend getting at the minimum an OBDII ELM327 reader and one of the apps like Torque which can scan for the check engine light codes. Then you have an idea of what is wrong and can do a search or ask here for possible issues and solutions. For the best analysis and Configuration programming, you can get JLR SDD (software) and a compatible Mongoose or VXDIAG/VXNano plug for the ODBII. (it takes a bit of trial and error and money, before you get a hang of it, but it is what the mechanics use for diagnosis.)
Replacement for cracked door panels can be found on eBay.
Foldable mirrors were mainly on cars newer than 2013 in the US/Canada. In Europe, I think they were available much earlier. There is a configuration setting in JLR SDD but you have have it installed for it to work.
