Today, when washing my 2011 5.0 pre-facelift XF, I discovered a button on the underside of the driver's side mirror. There isn't a button on the passenger side but there's a hole where the button would go. I have no idea what the button is for. I'm really curious. Can you help me?

 

Hi, it's the Ambient Outside Temperature Sensor. For some reason though, yours looks damaged or cut.
