Why won't text messages sent to my phone play over BT connection to our Infotainment

Default Why won't text messages sent to my phone play over BT connection to our Infotainment
My wife's Infinity works great with my Windows phone and her iPhone, but not in the Jag. What are we missing that keeps this from working?

Common problem. go to settings/Bluetooth/advanced then toggle "connect in a different way". This does fix the issue.

That worked, Thanks! Funny thing is I messed with that setting before with no success. The car and the phone have seen a few updates since the last time I tried so maybe that helped as well.

I do not have this setting on my 2010 XF Portfolio. Is this feature only on newer models?

Doesn't appear to be any such setting on my iPhone 5s either. I guess it only works with Windows phone.

WOW! Thanks for the tip! I just thought the Jag didn't support this feature. My Windows phone is truly hands free now txt to speech & speech to txt works great.
