I hope I'm not too late but I had issues with my 2014 XF 3.0 and had to change out the PVC so I made a tutorial in this post; high revs/ lean bank 1&2 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

I also have a 2010 5.0 which is much easier to access the two PVC's.
