Okay, had a weird one this morning. I turned on the steering wheel heater. Console indicator turned red as usual. Then I turned on seat heater and the three bars didn't change to red as usual. Stayed black. Tried turning cooler on... Stayed black.
But then, after hitting them experimentally a few times, I noticed my butt did get warmed. And I did hear both driver and passenger cooling fans come on.
Why isn't the console showing me the color to indicate what I pressed?

I did restart the car and get the same behavior yesterday. But today when I started the car, the seat heater display acted normally. The only difference I can think of is that I did seat heaters before steering wheel today, and the opposite yesterday. I'll try reversing again tomorrow.
Gotta love those ghost problems.
