Default XF Light switch replacement

I have just had a light switch replaced by a Jaguar specialist and the steering wheel is not central. He says he did not remove the steering wheel when he replaced the switch? Can you replace the switch without removing the steering wheel? Can anyone advise please.

Yes it is possible to replace the light switch on the XF without removing the steering wheel. You just need to pull the upper and lower trim off that sits right behind the steering wheel, and the light switch just has 2 tabs, one on top and bottom, squeeze them and the switch slides out.

Thanks for the information; just thought it was coincidental as the steering wheel was straight before the repair? Will now look to get the tracking looked at.
