So the part number for the S type R, I believe all XJ and XKR.. even some of the XFs have this same part. They said also some BMWs and Mercedes with the same ZF tranny has the same driveshaft Coupler.
The part number is C2C12747
An OEM one is a little over $400. You can 1,000% buy them separately.
I just bought a Dorman aftermarket one from Rockauto at about $180. Lifetime warranty.
JagBits, SNG Barret.. and a couple other have them anywhere from $300-400. I don’t want to spend that much on a rubber part.
I alsmost just bought a good conditioned used one which I’ve known someone to do but I didn’t want to go that far.
The Rockauto one states it’s a direct OEM fit and states the direct mirror to the part number C2C12747.

Thanks and glad to see that part is still available as it's rubber and will need replacement at some point.
It's a good sign Dorman has stepped up as that means there must be some demand for this part.

Yea I’ve seen a good amount of talk on this part through forums. At least for other Jag model and you’re welcome.

I'm not sure if it's "dimensionally correct", so you'd have to verify it, but I believe that either Energy Suspension or Prothane (or both), make those "guibos", as they're called, in polyurethane. FWIW, I do know that they make them for late model Corvettes.....You may want to look at those suppliers.
