I am looking to change up the wheels on my XFR-S and looking to drop a few lbs. in the process . I am currently stuck on the Forgestar CF10's & the Forgestar CF5V's
That being said, I did a quick photochop on these and which ones do you like better?
I would go with the cf5v and switch out the rotors to cross drilled when its time to replace them. Is there a particular reason your going with forgestar? For the cf5v stancewheels has a vsforged lineup that offer 2 or 3 variants to the cf5v but with very subtle differences (such as spoke width, distance between spokes and angle of spokes).
First off, congrats on the XFR-S, looks like you've been busy based on your recent activity on here...
If I had to choose between those two (2) I would go with the second choice, CF5V. But before you part with your hard earned money, do some research on ForgeStar.
Quickly looking on this very forum, I came across this: Forgestar F-Type Wheels
Scroll down to the 2nd or 3rd post, and you'll come across some interesting info... Something to consider. Not trying to bash your decision, but simply help you make an informed decision.
I had started my very own thread on this same topic a while back, and right before Christmas, I pulled the trigger on a set of wheels, I will have them in my possession in less than a month (probably within 2 - 3 weeks or so). This is the thread that I had strarted on this very topic: XFR-S Forged Wheels

Thank you! Congrats on your wheels as well, which ones did you end up going with? Paul was pretty popular in the Mustang crowd for a while and had his featured in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Ford. I bought my wheels for my Mustang from him a few years ago and things went fantastically so you are in good hands! This was my Mustang with the wheels on:
As for Forgestar, I know a bunch of people running Forgestars and the F14's are one of the most popular wheel choices for the S197 Mustangs (2009-2104) and have spurned many many copy cat designs for them lol. A lot of my buddies running in NASA AI (American Iron), AIX (American Iron Unlimited), TT (Time Trial) series as well as SCCA Autocross in all sorts of classes without any issues. Sam Strano who is a pretty prominent racer, as well as Terry & Jason from Vorshlag racing, run them constantly. The wheels are both VIA & JWL tested and certified. The kid in the S2000 was a bit of a moron who ran the wheels for 2 or 3 years and never inspected his wheels after any of his HPDE days. He would routinely hop the curbs as you can see in his video, every turn there was he was jumping the curbs which is pretty terrible when you hit them going 40+ MPH, you are going to break things like the JW Coilover that he ended up blowing up in the car. He even came on S197forum after being called out by Vorshlag and basically admitted fault here. Outside of that, I haven't seen failures from Forgestar that can be attributed to them being worn after certain periods of racing. I know that every now and then they will have some issues with their powder coating, but I'm willing to deal with that as they are pretty good with their customer service as well. S197 is a no BS forum & many new members can't cut the sarcastic and no-nonsense mindset over there so mind the attitude when reading through the thread.
Yup, they're the dracos. I can't put my finger on why I like them - maybe it's because the first XFR I tried was a relatively unique colour (spectrum blue) and had those alloys:

Sounds like you are quite familiar with different aftermarket wheels... curious why you didn't go back to Paul if you had luck with him in the past?
I ended up going with a BC Forged Wheel (this is a photo of my actual wheel set, just got this today should be in my hands in a week or so), similar design to your second wheel choice:
