Is your Jag your Daily Driver?

Is your Jag your Daily Driver?
Hello everyone, I'm new around here as many of you may already know. I joined the forum since I'm in interested in the new XF Jags.
My question for you guys is this:
How many of you are using your XF as a daily driver? And if so, how well is it working for you in that role? I'm in the process of researching cars and the Jag definitely came to my attention. But it also seems like one of those cars that is "too nice" to drive every single day (work and back).
Does anyone else get that same vibe about the Jag? If so, what cars do you prefer as your daily driver?

I just bought my 10 XF and plan to daily drive it in Iowa. I hope to be able to live without snow tires for the few winter months by using the Winter mode but if not, will snag some used 18" wheels off eBay and get some snow tires liked did with my last car.
I agree with the above post replies, if you own it, drive it.

Just buy one and try not to drive it every day. I have three cars to choose from and the Jaguar is always top of the list.
Daily driver year round. I fit four snow tires in October and the all seasons go back on at the end of May.
Winter tires are necessary if you get cold weather, regardless of whether it snows. They cost nothing because you are going to replace a set of tires at least once in 50,000 miles so you may as well have two sets. Unless you have staggered wheels you will rotate the set of tires at least once or twice per year. The only extra is mounting and remounting or a separate set of wheels.
Cheap insurance against skidding off the road or being unable to brake hard enough.....

Hi jlacck, I just bought a 97 XJ6L a couple of months ago. I have a very nice custom Harley I built and until the Jag rode it every day even to work. Now it seems all I want to do is drive this car Also have a BMW and will pick the Jag over it anyday. I love driving it, just worry about racking up the miles. It was fairly low miles when I bought it and in beautiful condition.

........and you can sell the winter setup with the car.

It sounds like the consensus is that anyone who has a Jag pretty much uses it as their daily driver. My presumption in that regards was that those who own this car are likely to also own another car. That said, choosing to drive your Jag daily seems like a matter of choice verses a matter of necessity. I think that speaks highly about this vehicle, and certainly it raises my curiosity in it. :-)

That's the case with me as well. Oh and when going to my kids football practice and games(they are DIRTY afterwards). But everywhere else, I'm in my baby!
