12 XJ SC How many Brake Pad Wear Sensors?

Replacing the the old oe jag rotors and pads with EBC slotted and Redstuff, just wondering how many brake pad wear sensors are on this car. Also are they made specific to the side like front sensors can only work on the front or rear only work on rear. FYI, I’ve done brakes before on my 09 XF SC, so I’m very familiar with the setup, since it was 09 didn’t have any sensors at all. Thanks in advance

Two wear sensors, one on the front left and one on the rear right, both on the inner brake pad.
And yes they are specific to front or rear, you can't interchange them.
