Oh my goodness. After trying out a few different tunes, looks like we found the winner today. This car is a full on beast now. Thank you so much, Stuart and Chris.

Now I just have to decide what level of aggression I want to keep it at!

No problem. Didn't realize you'd been through a few of them already but glad ours stacks up against the competition!

Will the kits for the older V8 models be going on sale? Also is there a shop in Orange County, CA. that is reputable to do the install and tune?

No, I meant Chris made a few different tune files for me to see what worked out best. I wouldn't ever bother trying the competition.

Throttle response in Dynamic Mode is downright scary if you're not used to it!

Interested in knowing this as well, since my 2012 XFR has the same Denso ECU. I already did the X-pipe, removed the center muffler and resonators, and Varex active mufflers. I don't want to mess with the pulley.

I'm sure there's several out there, but we don't have any dealers in OC that I could recommend from experience.

If you are just doing the tune it's very easy to DIY it?
I installed mine at home with no problem.

Just make SURE that you have a battery charger hooked up to the battery before you start. Also the car will be a bit dizzy afterwards so give it a couple of start/stops to get all the cobwebs knocked out.
Funny codes and such. The car goes thru a wide range of actions during the tune and it feels like something/someone has taken the car over as the tune is installed.

Stuart I got just the one tune for my 2014 XJR. Are there different variations? I see the OP has a 5.0L SC so it's a bit different.

They estimate the tune alone gets all the Bosch 5.0 SC engines to 605hp regardless of where you start. My upper pulley, intake, and xpipe are good for a few more horses on top of that. So I got huge bang for my buck since my car was 470hp from the factory.

Hi Stuart,

I have a MY14 XJL SC with 470bhp. Do I need a pulley change to bring it up to 600bhp? If I only do ECU, what would be the max gain?

And is it possible to DIY instead of going to a shop since I am in Hong Kong.

Cheers
Emmanuel
