I used these when I changed my spark plugs—should've just paid the extra $60 for the OEM ones.

Denso 4712 Spark Plug

Iridium TT; Pre-Set Gap: 0.040"Features & Benefits:
  • LIFESPAN / DURABILITY | Iridium alloy is 6X harder and 8X stronger than Platinum
    • Iridium with Rhodium Center Electrode -- DENSO uses the highest concentration of Iridium of any spark plug and outperforms in the most severe engine temperatures, resisting oxidation and voltage wear for over 100,000 miles.
    • Platinum Ground Electrode -- extends the life of the plug by resisting gap erosion.
    • Patented 360-Degree Laser Welding -- creates the highest quality bond for structural support of the center electrode.
  • PERFORMANCE / IGNITABILITY
    • 0.4 mm Fine Wire Iridium Center Electrode -- achieves higher ignitability and requires lower spark voltage to enable high-response driving with fewer misfires. As a result, acceleration improves in comparison with normal plugs.
  • EFFICIENCY / FUEL ECONOMY
    • Twin Tips ① -- allow the spark plug to create the fastest and largest spark concentration and explosion, which translates into more power and superior fuel economy.

Denso would work well too.
Somehow on our market NGK iridium are bit cheaper than Denso irididium.
And always: Check that you are using genuine parts. You dont want piston and valves start playing catch with spark plug tip.

I'm sick of guessing if my parts are genuine or not so I ordered direct from NGK. ngk.com The plugs were @$14 each.

The website allows you to enter your MY etc, and selects the exact parts for your car.

Are the Denso sparkplugs supposed to be gapped ?? Denso ships it at 1.0 mm (0.040″), but for your XJL you’ll want to re-gap them to 0.8 mm (0.032″) per Jaguar spec .

I gap all of them, because plugs are (mostly) made as universal for use of many different engines and engine manufacturer specify the gap suitable for ignition system they use and combustion chamber they made.

The only difference I can notice between the OEM/NGK and Denso spark plugs is that the OEM has a bit more metal at the spark end.
