Hello everyone

I have a question. As i am nearing my 60K mile service, could someone tell me what is included?
I did see that both brake fluid and steering wheel fluid needs to be changed.
Can those be done as DIY? And what brand to use.

My local dealer is asking 800.00 for the service- Too expensive.

I'm very surprised about the power steering fluid, and frankly, at 60k miles it would be unusual nowadays to replace the brake fluid unless tests show it has excessive water content. In the old days, it was sensible to replace brake fluid regularly as there was no way of measuring the water content. Now modern electronic testers will determine the water content and if over the limit, the fluid should be changed.

As for the PS fluid, I have never replaced any in my time with cars with PS ! Check and top up, yes.
