Overnight both key fobs lost communication with the car in that the doors will not lock or unlock (except with the keyblade from the fob) not with the fob buttons or touch on the door handles. However the car will recognize holding the fob against the panel just below the light switch panel after several tries. Indy gave up on it and now the dealer is stumbling through diagnosis with, I’m afraid, the parts cannon. Originally the blame was on both fobs failed at the same time. Second try was new fobs, which would not accept the programming to connect with the car. Apparently finally realized the commonality was the car, not the fobs. Now waiting for a transceiver for the car to arrive.

Anybody have an insight into this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Not really any help but if at a dealer hopefully they will hook the car up to an SDD system to get error codes.
Otherwise it's a guessing game. But with your symptoms it does point to the module.

It sounds like the KVM module has lost communication/ gone out of sync with the keys. There is a Jaguar TSP for this, your dealer should know that.

That seems to be the cause, now replaced and back on the road. Thanks for your insight.
