2012 XJL Headlight Adjustment??
I had the front listened plate bracket on my XJL removed and while the body shop had the bumper over off I replaced one of the headlamp assemblies due to a small crack from a rock. The adjustment on that light hasn't been correct ever since. I looked for adjustment screws but didn't find any- and it's got the adaptive lighting so not sure you can??
Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance for feedback!

Busa, you should be able to adjust your headlights. This is what you will need to do.
Park the car on a level surface, facing a flat surface/wall. Park back about 20 feet. Measure the distance from the headlights to the wall, from the ground to the center of the headlight, and the distance between the headlights.
Using some masking tape or other suitable marking device, start off by figuring out where the center of the car is pointing to on the wall and then putting a small vertical piece of tape there. Now, taking half of the distance between the headlights, put another vertical piece of tape (about 12 inches long) to the left and right of this center piece of tape. Finally, on each vertical piece of tape, put a horizontal piece of tape across the vertical one at the height of the headlights minus 2.4" (the headlights should be pointed down at 1%, so, if you had the car parked exactly 20 feet (240 inches), then you are subtracting 2.4", adjust as necessary based on how far back you are parked). At this point, you can turn on the headlights and see how the good side shines on the tape. Make sure that your steering wheel is pointing straight forward.
You will want to look at how the good side is shining on the wall. Take that same image and mirror it so you know where to aim your bad side. Look above the outer corner of the headlight where the quarter panel and the support that runs over the headlight meet, you should see a spot where an allen wrench will fit in on the portion nearest you. If you look about 6 inches to the center of the car, you will see a second allen slot (will be on the other side of the support that runs over the headlight). Between these 2 allen slots, you should be able to aim the headlight.
