2016 TPMS Frequency, USA
I can't seem to find a straight answer on the TPMS frequency for my 2016 XJ. The Jaguar parts sites show both 315MHz and 433MHz part numbers as compatible. I see lots of information around the forum about 433MHz being Europe and 315MHz being USA, but also see that 433MHz may have been adopted here in the later years and RockAuto shows 433MHz as correct.
Does anyone know for sure? Or is there a way to figure it out without pulling a sensor? I have SDD if needed.

Why not ask ChatGPT?
What frequency does the 2016 Jaguar XJ use for the TPMS sensors
If you're replacing or reprogramming sensors, make sure any aftermarket TPMS sensors are compatible with this frequency and support the Jaguar protocol. Many universal sensors (like Schrader or Autel) can be programmed to match.
Need help choosing a brand or learning how to reset/relearn them on your Jaguar XJ?
Of course, YMMV.

Better to forget AI again.
Attached is the listing of TPMS sensors. It might help. Your car "should" be 315 MHZ.
BUT your right that there is confusion from Jaguar and other sources. So a physical inspection might be required.
I got 4 cheap senors off EBay for around $30 and they worked fine. Others have had problems and had to go thru Jaguar to get a set that worked.
My 2014 XJR was 315 MHZ and TPMS batteries have a life of around 7 years. If yours are 7 years or older then they are in line to be replaced. The batteries are not replaceable.
One good tip is to check the senors BEFORE installation! Most places can do this and I use Discount Tire. I got 4 good ones for my Jaguar but doing a F-150 DT found a bad one on the bench which saved us a good bit of work.
Can't answer your question if SDD will show the difference but if you do find anything I would be interested. I did see one guy who had so much trouble he edited the CCF for his car and removed the system! I did not know that was possible but he did it.
If you want to get it from Jaguar I see this part number #C2D47173. But check it using your VIN to make sure.

ChatGPT is an aggregate of a web search, just because it is written definitively does not make it any more accurate.
Funny enough, C2D47173 shows as 433MHz
I will poke around in SDD, and maybe shoot an email to a Jaguar Parts site to see if they can get me an exact part number based on my VIN.

I just bought a couple of 315s for my 2011. They are for the spare front and rear wheels I have. Also got service kits for the 4 on the car. All from Rock Auto's closeout stuff. They had 433s in closeout too.

SDD shows 315MHz.
I guess I'll have to pull the sensors and see for myself.

I wish I could find the JLR document that states that, but I can't recall exactly which document.
And it could be from the Land Rover side of JLR since I also dig through sources for my Range Rovers too.
