Default 2017 XJL what is a good price?

Looking at this Jaguar XJL 2017 Jaguar XJ SAJWA2G74H8W09869 - Spanos Motors do you feel that this is a good buy? or too expensive? Many thanks for your input !
Also is this a good year for a 3.0 and are they reliable?

djpxk8, that car is very similar to mine (with mine having a gray interior and being an XJL) and I paid $28K a year ago for a 2016. So, price wise, it is inline with current market prices. The only thing I would recommend is getting a Carfax or some other "car information" service to research the VIN. In my adventures of buying my 2016, I ran across a dealership that was trying to pawn off an XJL with a bad head gasket and they kept just replacing the pipes that were bursting and not fixing the head/block itself. This was evident by the car needing major coolant service every 2K miles over the course of 10K miles which started right after needing a new water pump. The dealership I told this to looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my forehead. They just wanted to sell the car. I told them they couldn't give me that car. To say their jaws hit the floor was an understatement.

The only other thing I can see being something that would make me want to walk away from that car is if it was involved in a severe accident, needing major reconstruction. A minor rear end collision needing a new bumper cover I would no worry about. But, if the repair needed a new structural parts, I would walk away.

A carfax only shows whatwas reported to them. A bad carfax is a reason noto buy. Agood carfax means you should investgate further. A pre-purchase inspection is your best bet to find out the condition of the car. Cost shouldn't exceed $500.

On the Spanos website, I see an XJ two years older with less mileage, and it's $6k less. You might want to look at that one as well.

I'd want the facelift model, price is pretty average but the bonuses here are Oronas, illumination package, and color other than black (with non-brown interior). Actually think Ammonite/Storm are only second to BRG

that 575 has 58K miles, has been involved in two separate accidents, and has had three owners in 5 years

Very nice, but why is the hood crooked? Possibly not fully closed, but I don't know why a seller would take pics with the hood not fully closed.

Surprisingly a sh*tload of sellers post pics with the hood only latched on one side. While I was still shopping, I came on here asking about it like, "uh.. is there something faulty with the hoods on these cars I need to look out for?"
