Are you asking a question for the forum? In the past this has happened to me after a shop changes a tire and only jacks on one side. A lot of people start the engine with the door open which is maintenance mode, and does not allow the car to relevel suspension, or have pushed too much air into one shock.

The standard fix is to have a shop or the dealer recalibrate it. I own an Autel MS906 and it can calibrate it.

I noticed this after I went to the shop to get all the tires changed the whole car was up on the lift in the shop jacks were not used

When does the car relevel suspension? when idling with doors closed ?

As soon as you pick your foot off the brake after car is cranked with all 4 doors closed.

I think contacting the D8S people would be the first thing to do?
The air suspension calibration is very deep inside SDD so be sure any after market device states it can calibrate the air suspension.

Well again all that is fine IF it works on your Jaguar? What happens when you choose any of them? Does the car react?
I would not purchase it unless you have it in writing that the device does work on your model of Jaguar.

There is just such a wide array of devices and what they can do. We have to understand there will never be a device that can do everything on all cars.

The shop scanner is good for those who know how to use one.
I get the same options on my Autel, and you'll see some verbiage differences if you use SDD. But, the Altitude Calibration verbiage seems odd. If I had to guess, that would be the one.

Now, how to calibrate - you should reference the shop manual in the sticky of this forum for the goal heights. You have to measure from the wheel center to the top of the wheel arch. There's a special tool that can be used - ideally. I just use a tape measure.
Data entry happens in millimeters.

If this is the only issue you intend to use it for, why not pay the Dealer or an Indy an hour of shop time to get this fixed for you? Better yet, ask the shop who did the work for you if they will fix or pay for it to be fixed?

The sticky is located here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...guides-222545/

That is roughly how it is measured, yes. There is an offset tool that Jaguar recommends, most people don't have that I find. If you search the suspension section, you'll find the as delivered calibration heights.
