Default Anyone switch to cone filters on XJR

I have the Mina gallery intake pipe and am thinking about switching to cone filters. Seems the factory setup is somewhat ram air but think I can gain some power and definitely some supercharger whine with open cone filters. I added the supercharger pulley last week and love the added whine it gave but want more. Added power would be a bonus too.
2016 XJR
Thanks

1s14jay, while I don't have the XJR, I have installed aftermarket oil filters to my car. Something that I have noticed is the car is now more sensitive to air flow imbalances and what I experience is a P0101 code periodically. Ironically, nothing you do with the filters (cleaning, putting new paper ones in, etc) will cause the code to clear (if you clear it, it will come back in a little bit of time). What I have found out the problem to be is that a little bit of gum will form on the throttlebody and this will cause it to stick slightly. So, what happens is if you drive and keep your foot in 1 spot as you go up a very gradual hill, the car will eventually see a mismatch in air flow and throttlebody position, resulting in the P0101 code. Maybe the supercharged engine will be slightly different, but maybe not.
