Default Brake dust

I'm guessing my (new to me) 2011 has standard/original brakes (37500 miles)
The issue is the brake dust, I drive maybe 200 miles or so and the brake dust is terrible, what's a good brake pad that I can install, (nothing Chinese please)
Thanks all.

My XE has Jaguar brake pads, and the dust is minimal. I think current Jaguar pads are low dust. They'll be expensive, of course ! Best to try to find out who the supplier is to Jaguar. I'm assuming your pads are not Jaguar OEM.

PHil, it is not so much who makes the pad, but what kind of pad you use. Every pad has pros and cons. But, if you are after minimal dust with good braking, then you want to find some ceramic pads. Odds are, you have like organic pads on the car now and that is what is causing your dust issue. The con of the ceramics is they tend to be a bit harder on your rotors and would therefore need to replace them a little more often. I am not talking new pads, new rotors every time. But, instead of getting say 250K miles out of a set of rotors, you may only get 150K miles. I am at 127K miles with ceramic pads and I will be swapping out the rotors not so much because they are getting too thin but because I am switching over to a cross-drill/slotted rotor set up (a different discussion all in itself).

I changed to Porterfield R4-S CF pads because of the dusting. Have over 20K miles on them and no complaints about noise, dust, stopping or wear.
Brake Pads

Note be sure and get the right size.

Oem brake pads for my x351 were semi metallic. The level of dust was absolutely stunning. I would also get really annoying squealing, despite lubing every component of the caliper and pad. I switched to brembo ceramic. No more black dust. And no more awful squealing.

It looks like Rock Auto has a few... (I'm partial to the Powerstop brake pads - haven't tried the rotors yet though. But I've used their pads on a few vehicles & will continue to).

Have you thought about caliper covers? Placed those on my 2012 XJL with 37000 miles about 3 yrs ago. There is no unsightly dust on my wheels. I’ve had the car since 2012 and these are the original brake pads.
