Which Brake Pads for Least Dust?
It was mentioned in this thread that slotted rotors were preferred, and to NOT get drilled. That's kind of the opposite of what I thought, so what do you guy say (or is it a Ford/Chevy type of question?)
R1 makes their drilled rotors with countersunk holes, and they were my first choice, but I have time to read opinions.

From all my reading there are zero problems with drilled or drilled and slotted rotors for normal street use providing they are reasonable quality, I have had the same set of slotted and drilled "Hart" brand rotors on for nearly six years now (XFR first then F-Type) with zero problems. Not only zero problems, they have worn very smoothly and evenly and very slowly with almost no lips on the outer faces.
The only time I have read of problems with drilled rotors is when poor quality ones are hammered really hard on the track and get excessively hot, and then they can crack.
Nothing at all wrong or risky with the R1 Concepts drilled (and slotted) rotors.
