Default Brake pedal hard to press

2016 jaguar XJR 59,000 miles. Sitting at a light and a Mustang GT pulls up next to me. Roll down the window and said are you ready. I gave him a smile. He didn’t know what I was driving. He hit the gas before me got a little Headstart and I school him. He pulled up to the next light and says wow what is that. I said XJR. He said one more time this time we took off together and it wasn’t even close. I stopped at about 80 miles an hour. On our way to the next light I hit the brakes and the brake pedal was very hard. I could barely stop. And I saw the eco-boost light come on. When I turn the car off and turned it back on Sunday the eco light went off. But the brakes still wasn’t working and was very hard to press. Not sure what happened but had to pull over and left the car in the parking lot. It is very hard to get the car to stop. Called my son and he came and picked me up. Went back a couple hours later and tried to move it and the brake pedal was very hard. Cannot be driven. Does anybody know what’s going on? Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. The vacuum pump is on the front lower right of the engine, possibly vacuum line failed or the brake booster failed. IMHO

Shouldn't be to difficult for a tech to figure out and replace any failed parts

My bet are on vacuum leak as well, but as being once fixed my friend wifes brakes by removing high heel shoe behind of the pedal: Please check that there are nothing behind of the pedal.
