CCF modifications not applied
Hi guys,
My Jag is 2017MY X351. Unfortunately, it does not have an IPMA. I installed a Rearview-mirror with HCMB built in yesterday. It was very easy and no tools were needed. It has a mono-camera unlike IPMA. I modified the CCF, and after completing the learning, I am finally able to use AHBA.
I wanted to check the extent of this HCMB's capabilities. I turned on TSR. It works fantastically well. Unfortunately, Lane assist was not available. So far everything has been easy.
There is a problem.
I believed I could use "Intelligent cruise control" because I could use the TSR normally. Unfortunately, this feature doesn't seem to be available. I tried to return it to its original value. When I tried to fix the CCF, I was shocked. I obviously changed it to "Fitted (0x40)", but it was replaced by "C9(0xC9)". Checking the CCF, "C9 (0xC9)" is not a selectable value. This was the first time this happened.
I tried to change this to the default value - "NOTFITTED (0x40)". No matter what I did, it didn't change.
What should I do if the value does not change after CCF modification?
Many Thanks,
KIM

- DTC Read & Clear (repeat)
- Negative isolation (battery reset)
- JLR-VCI and Genuine Mongoose tried.
- Laptop reboot
What should I do if the value does not change after CCF modification?
Many Thanks,
KIM

Hi @mohaqq ,
This is a very simple job. I have posted everything on my blog - step by step. There's a used Mirror/Cover package at a good price on eBay now.

@mohaqq , Here is,
You can find 2 items on eBay. GC is for RHD and HC is for LHD, there is no difference when learning is completed.

Check if CAN signal is detected at 7/8 of Rear-View-Mirror's jack, if yes, maybe, I think that you can use AHBA. But part number different. The Mirror above is for a pre-2016 car. Supports LDW and AHBA.

Hi guys,
I solved this problem with Dave's help. The cause was an incorrect mask definition(0x0F) and overflow to next parameters. This is obviously Jaguar's absurd design error. I have summarized the contents briefly.

Hi,
You can use TSR and AHBA without "replace" IPC. If you want to use LDW/AEB, you have to replace IPC to 2018MY or above. 2016/2017MY IPC's software does not have LDW/AEB menu(You can not update base software of IPC). And my Jag has Adaptive Cruise Control. So, I can use IEB(Intelligent Emergency Brake). It is similar with AEB.
Thanks,
KIM
