Default Compatible parts

Hello guys as all Jaguar owners know it is impossible to find parts at your local parts store so does anyone know of a vehicle that is compatible to break parts for a Jaguar 2011 XJL currently I am looking for the passenger side brake line and even my Jaguar dealership in Baton Rouge Louisiana does not carry it
Thanks

Daph, I would say that you can possibly find a useable brake line by taking yours off and going to your local parts place. They can then match up the ends and get you something that is close. If what you are after is hard brake line, then odds are, what you are looking at having to do is get a piece of straight hard pipe and then bend it accordingly using a bending tool and then flaring the ends with the correct fittings.

If you need me to go into more detail, let me know. For something dealing with bending hard line, any competent shop can do this for you. This sort of line is used on most modern day cars.

Your best bet are on-line Jaguar dealers. There are quite a few. They have exploded diagrams so you can get the part number.

One thing to be aware of with Jags is they need the last 6 digits of your VIN when you order parts.
Jaguar makes many, many running changes so this is critical to getting the right parts.
It's even more important because they do update things sometimes.

If you have difficulty finding a new one, you could contact pacific motors or a similar breaker and ask them for a used one of the needed part. I have seen several 2011s parted out on their site. Best of luck.
