Continuing "towed back home"
Me again. I'm starting a new thread because this is a new symptom. It stopped cranking. As explained in previous thread, Tow truck dropped the ride on the street. I knew it had ran out of gas so I dumped 5 gal. in and tried to start it to move it to the garage.
After the addition of fuel I tried to start it. It went through a cranking cycle about three times and then the next time it stopped cranking period. Voltage is good. when powered on and press the brake I hear what I guess would be the LPFP, and what not, but it does not crank.

What is your open circuit voltage? You've been hammering on that battery trying to start it. I would remove the battery from the vehicle and have it charged overnight, most auto parts stores will do this for free.
