Coolant leak issue

Really having mixed emotions on my 5.0 N/A this is my second jag and the poor design in coolant system is driving me crazy just got word of another coolant leak after having to replace the reservoir and upper hoses....this next job is water pump and lower outlet hosing..anyone else thoughts on the cooling set up!!

Lol i just don’t get it man seriously how can they allow this to just be a common fault after years I’ve read the old s and x types had the same problem after this replacement i think I’m going for the 575 as they offer me 20k off since i told them it’s noted to be discountinued and didn’t sell as well as expected

haendless, I can feel your pain. I spent 3 weeks trying to resolve the leaks on my car when I had to replace the water pump. If you need some help, let me know. the car tends to leak coolant from 2 areas around the water pump. The first is the obvious, the seal around the shaft. The second is the tube coming off the back of the water pump. The big trick that you will most likely find is that you can't get just the seals through the dealership. You have to go online to like e-bay and there are people there that sell only the seals. The dealership in Annapolis will only sell you the seals with a whole water pump and then, depending on the water pump, you may have to also buy some hoses too. I just went through the run around.

If you want to do this yourself and want some help, let me know. I can give a few pointers and help spin a few wrenches.
