Hi,

The attachment "Jaguar 351 Signature lights hack.docx" seems to be missing. Is there a way to recover the file?

Thanks

I believe that the DRL (daylight running lights) is turned on my a setting made with the SDD used by the Jaguar Dealer. I tried reposing the directions but was unable to.

I'm absolutely scared to do this... I need a step by step guide..., I'm not an expert....

With hardly a pause for breath, I leap into a response:

It seems to be still attached - or has been reattached - to post #8 and post #19. (at least it works for me - beware it downloaded as "Jaguar 351 Signature lights hack.docx.dot", and so may have done a disappearing act on your machine, or your machine may have blocked the download of a ".dot" file)

Just completed this "HACK" on my 2014 XJL, center wire on the clip side of the connector. I used 2 SPDT relays so I only had to run one wire ( switched +12v) to the drivers side. my relays had a metal mounting tab and there is a flat plate directly behind the headlight with a small hole that I used to mount them, a small bolt with a locking nut worked perfectly. I also tapped into the switched 12v in the fuse box, had to use a different fuse, one shown was not switched, used the one to the right and added a dedicated in line 3A fuse. Everything seems to be working, do have a delay in turning off of the LED's but not an issue. Thank You to GEARS for this post.

Cant source the tyco relay.
pin outs on mine are as follows.
pin Configuration:

Pin 1: Pole A - Normally Closed (NC)
Pin 2: Pole B - Normally Closed (NC)
Pin 3: Pole A - Normally Open (NO)
Pin 4: Pole B - Normally Open (NO)
Pin 5: Pole A - Common IN
Pin 6: Pole B - Common IN
Pin 7: Coil Side A
Pin 8: Coil Side B
Will it be the same wiring?
