Unplugging the lights….. Battery disconected or not? Will it give a error?

Yes, disconnect the battery and use electrical contact cleaner to clean pins on the headlights and the connection and wait for them to dry! If you use too much spray the liquid will linger until it dissipates.

These round headlight connectors are very prone to corrosion- mine has a weak connection on the pin that connects the right side turning lamps...it flickers and drives me absolutely crazy. May have to go in there this week and slightly bend the connector so it makes better contact...
