Engine Swap crank but no start
We have a 2012 XJL 5.0 NA with a seized motor, swapped the motor out of a 2013 XJL 5.0 NA and noticed the crank sensor and flywheel were different. Crank sensor out of the 2013 was a 3 pin while it had a different design flywheel as well, the 2012 engine had a 2 pin crank sensor. Proceeded with the swap anyways figured it shouldn't be an issue, engine cranks but doesn't start. I have spark, injector pulse, RPM is reading 200 during crank so we know sensor is reading. Not sure where to go from here and starting to think we have a incompatible engine? No pending or stored codes, it'll just crank but doesn't fire up. Wondering if anyone can help. Information I've gathered below as far as the differences:
2013 Jaguar XJL
Engine ID: C2Z20762
Crank sensor - 3 PIN Connector Part# DX23-6C315-AA (Part number comes up for a SC application when it came from a NA?)
Fly wheel Part#: DX23-6K375-AA
2012 Jaguar XJL (Vehicle we're working on)
Engine ID: AJ812855
Crank Sensor - 2 Pin
What am I missing here? Are these 2 engine different? Perhaps different cams?
