Default Facelifted multimedia

Hi.
I wonder if anyone tried to retrofit 2015 multimedia into the pre-facelifted models ( e.g. 2010 )?
I am not sure if it's possible even with all new blocks. I know what BMW allows to do it ( NBT ).

I put a 2013 unit into my 2010 to give faster response and bigger icons, just plug and play

To be honest, I don't really like the look of the new multimedia interface. It has an odd Windows 10 vibe to it. The updated instrument cluster is nice though.
