A few error codes
Hi all,
I've currently got a couple of little issues with my XJ. Nothing too serious, but it was an excuse to buy myself one of those iCarSoft readers.
A few errors which it's thrown up that won't go away.
B11ED - Electric Heater Control Unit
I believe this is to do with the electric boost heater. This makes sense, as unlike my XF's this doesn't seem to heat the car immediately. Not a big issue, as the car warms up fairly quickly anyway. But am I right in thinking that most likely this is a boost heater replacement? If so I may leave this as I think that's a fairly big job and requires draining the coolant and air-con, as well as removing the steering column etc. Any ideas of quick things I can check though just in case? I can't seem to find a fuse which applies to this.
B110A - Rear Door Driver Side Central Locking Motor
So the rear passenger door has been playing up. It locks perfectly fine manually, just not remotely with the central locking. I don't tend to have people in the back of the car often, so I've kinda forgotten about this one. Looking at the manual, this seems to be an issue with a short-to-ground. What's going to be the easiest fix here? Just replace the lock?
C2006 - Left Actuator (Powered Boot)
The powered boot worked perfectly when I first got the car. Then one day silly me left the boot floor clipped up and accidentally caught the button to close the boot. Since then it was hit-and-miss for a while, and finally, it gave up together. I did replace the powered strut a while ago to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. Any ideas about what may be the issue here, and how to fix it?
Finally, something which doesn't show up as an error, but bugs me anyway. The windows. They all seem to do this now. They go down with no problem. However, when closing, they go up about halfway and then go back down. I have to do this 3 times and then eventually it allows me to hold the button to close them fully. The fact this is happening on every single window makes me think this may be a common (and hopefully easy) issue to fix.

UPDATE
I think I've narrowed the boot down to a faulty module. I've noticed the soft close can be a bit hit-and-miss lately. Several times I've put something in the boot, got in the car, and been told the boot is still open. I know these work of the same module and at less than £15 for a second-hand one, it's worth a punt.
The door I believe is a faulty latch after going through all of the troubleshooting steps in the workshop manual.
The heater I'm still guessing is faulty. However, the electrical manual says that there should be a 150amp mega fuse under the bonnet for it. Does anyone know where this is? Worth just testing to be sure it isn't gone!
Still have no idea about the windows. It's like the anti-pinch is kicking in. Bit of rust in the mechanism maybe?

Hi,
For windows: Have you detach your battery lately? If yes, then you have to teach the limits for windows. Procedure are same as most of the modern vehicles.
Open window at max. Hold switch "open" for 3sek. Next close the window. Once closed hold switch "close" for 3sek. Do that for all windows and they should operate without problems.
