Default Headlight & wiper stalk

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone can confirm if the stalks on my 2010 x351 should be illuminated when the headlights are on. I ask because I find it so difficult to see what is selected in the dark. Only just got the car 2 days ago so not sure where everything is yet .

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Graham

No, they are not illuminated when the headlights are ON. Would be nice if they were because, indeed, they are hard to see. It does help to put the headlight stalk on AUTO, however. Works well for me in that mode but, I do have that optional package to automatically control the high and low beams.

The wiper is on auto, by default. I find that at times the auto just too slow to recognize a wet windshield and need a manual intervention to start with.

Good luck with your new car,

Albert

Yep, does seem odd that the stalks aren't illuminated - just about everything else is including the + and - on the paddles. The only other control not illuminated is the Volume control - that one particularly strikes me as an annoying omission
