Default Hood Vent flew off??

I recently bought a 204 XJ-R and I love this thing. This is my first Jaguar and my first vehicle with hood vents. Is it common for the clients to come loose during normal highway driving? I feel like I would have noticed a piece flying off my hood so I’m also assuming someone really needed a driver side vent and decided mine was for the taking. I just want to make sure this isn’t a common problem and if so maybe I should secure the replacement down with 3m tape. Also, is there anywhere else to get these besides spending almost $200 dollars at the dealer for essentially a piece of plastic that says supercharged? Maybe a member here has one or set for sale?

Well mine are CF but so far have stayed in place despite being run at VERY high speeds!
If they stay in place at 180 MPH then something must have come loose for yours to fall off?

I don't think you can take them off with your hands BUT I have not tried either?
Have you checked EBay? They may have replacements from China that would work.

Is yours a 2004 or a 2014?

Yeah I’ve checked eBay and I can’t find anything within reason. Kinda annoying. But my car is a 2014. I do t think I can edit my posts yet. Lol
