Default Howto reduce the time it takes for the engine to start after pressing button.

Hi guys,

I was installed remote start system on 15MY. Everything seems to be working correctly, but when I touch the start icon in the app, it only activates the ACC mode, and doesn't fully start the engine. Because, before 15MY XJ requires I to press brake pedal and hold start button for about 3 seconds to start the engine. Is there a way to reduce this to within 1 second, like in the 16MY models and later? I tried installing a simple delay module, but after checking with multimeter, it seems start button isn't just a simple power supply switch.

I'm starting to think it would be better to shorten the start button press duration rather than trying to use a module like this. I looked through the CCF but couldn't find any options related to start delay. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Thanks!

I assume that if you press the remote start a second time, the car turns off?
What kit did you use?
