I am going to pressure test my coolant system. Where are best places to look?
I have a 2011 Supercharged with 60k miles. It is on the original water pump and cooling system. No leaks that I can tell by the level in the overflow or under tray. I was thinking of renting a coolant pressure tester to inspect for weak points and replace components as necessary. I already have the newest water pump plus associated parts in hand.
Any recommendations on where I should be checking for weak points in the system? For example, if I never heard of the notorious crossover pipe, I wouldn't even think to look back there. I have an endoscope if that helps

I think if you are not losing coolant that I would not go looking for problems?
Just keep an eye on the oil and coolant levels. Not every car will have these problems either.
You are wise to be aware too!

If you pressure test it, try a few problem areas that oft can go overlooked. The waterpump may look okay, but there is a weep hole that starts to leak before most other components. Get yourself a telescoping mirror from harbor freight to see underneath the pump and check for coolant. If you are looking for evidence of loss at the rear of the engine, the pipe that connects both intakes can start dripping on the trans bell housing. Other than that, imo, I think the visible pipes are good enough to check. Others probably have more insight.
