Default Jaguar oem dashcam

Has anyone fitted or tried to install the Jaguar OEM dashcam kit? Is it possible on the XJ X351?

They make cameras for the xj that have a built in look around around the rearview mirror. It comes with a plug and play for power behind the mirror.

When you say "plug and play", are you referring to the connector hidden by the OE clamshell? Six wires, if I recall, powering the rain sensor and chromic inside mirror.
My interpretation of the manual for the 2012 MY (p/n: OEW-ST-4-2) is that the camera is powered by a long cable and cigarette lighter plug. It would be terrific if this device came with the proper connector that interfaces with the car's wiring, as opposed to running a cable along the windshield, A-pillar, etc. and finding an appropriate fuse.
