Just had the software upgrade done....
....pretty good so far (I might give a detailed review in a separate post), but now the interior courtesy lights don't seem to work properly, ie. they don't come on when you open the door, only when you manually touch them. I can't find anything in the manual which gives any clues about this. Has anyone else noticed this as a "side effect" of the upgrade, or is this just an isolated incident?

The software update and running updates have been done to my car, and the courtesy lights come on when a door is opened. My car was in the shop for a week, and they had removed the headliner to fix the "popping sunroof" noise (which I did not experience). Did they work on your headliner, and somehow leave a harness disconnected? Does it happen with just the driver door, or any door?

I just figured out the interior light issue. There is an obscure reference in the manual to switching between auto mode (lights come on when you enter the car) vs manual mode (they don't). To do this you touch and hold the middle interior light (by the interior mirror) for 2 secs. Mine must have inadvertently been switched to manual mode.
