A friend of mine came by for the holidays in his new Range Rover. One of the new features was a led projector on the bottom of the cars side mirrors that projected the R/R logo onto the ground when he either opened the door or pressed his key to unlock his car. I thought it was kinda neat in a way parrots are attracted to shiny objects.

Found a similar idea on eBay for Jag.

These mount to your interior door lights so they can only be seen when your door is open. Also note the these cannot be seen during the day, only when it's dark enough for the led's to perform.

I had a date the other day and when I opened the door for her, it caught her attention which I assume is the ultimate Freudian reason men buy anything. Thought I'd share this neat toy. Bought for $80 on eBay and installation is a snap for anyone the has enough skills to say... add air to tires - snap and play - no tools required.

 

Oooh...I like those. Definitely makes a statement.

A nice cheap n easy mod to do that really grabs attention

I paid $79.95 six months ago.

I like this design the best because its two color and matches my grill badge perfectly. You can also get yourself a leaper with "JAGUAR" underneath. By the way you can also get a custom one where you send in your own logo of your choice.

 

Thanks. I found this one yesterday and asked the seller about XJ fit as the ad originally only mentioned X-type. He confirmed as did the part# I had my dealership run (same part# shared between X-type and XJ). So I pulled the trigger. Plus, they're so cheap now

Interestingly, I also see that the seller has updated the listing to also indicate XJ specifically.
