Hello everyone my lock actuator went out on the driver side so I bought the part easy enough looks like a simple replacement took the door apart this morning I cannot figure out how to get the part out of the door it is attached to I believe it’s called a lock reinforcement has anybody tackled this year on a 2013

1. Refer to:Front Door Window Regulator and Motor (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
2. Refer to:Exterior Front Door Handle (501-14 Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems, Removal and Installation).
3. NOTE:Right-hand shown, left-hand similar.
   
   
   
   Torque: 3Nm

   Torque: 7Nm
6. NOTE:Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.
   
   
   
7. NOTEo not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
   
   
   
8. NOTE:Note the position of the wiring harness.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. NOTE:Remove the screw sufficiently, only to release the component.
   
   
   
   Torque: 4Nm

3. CAUTION:Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.
   
   NOTE:Secure the connection in the service position.

INSTALLATION

1. CAUTION:Make sure that the wiring harnesses are correctly located.
   
   
   
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
