Hey Dennis, I tried to reset it with my new OBD-II scanner and it diden't work or at least I diden't get a completed/successful message. But this scanner I purchased, (INNOVA - 5610 v3) went crazy after a couple scanns, then it would't communicate with the car after that. I found that many people have this same problem on the forum, some scanners work and others don't. I have an old OBD-II scanner that works fine with the car. I plugged the new scanner into my 2004 Toyota Tundra and it works fine. I also plugged it into my 2019 Toyota Corolla SE and it works fine also.

I'm thinking of purchasing a scanner that's compatible with Jaguars.
