Default LWB spoiler on SWB car ?

I love the LWB spoiler - but I bought a SWB car.

Does it fit ? Can I buy the LWB spoiler ? If so, where ?

Best,

GP

The Spoiler should work regardless if it is SWB or LWB. The only difference between the two models is the length of the car, and not the width.
Your dealer should be able to order the part for you.
Cheers!

My XJ has the factory spoiler and it is slightly different from the Mina spoiler. They both attach in the same manor with 3M double stick tape. Factory spoilers are primed but not painted. You may also be interested in adding the front splitter also.

Your car looks lovely !

Did you put the front splitter or it came already with it ?

How does it attach ? 3M ? drilled ?

I was wondering also as to whether that splitter is the XJR factory or aftermarket?

The splitter and spoiler were part of the Speed Package along with red calipers and max speed limiter set to 174mph, the Speedometer is up to 190mph. Many late USA 2015 XJs came with the splitter/spoiler and the XJRs side rails. The splitter attaches with 3M tape on the leading edge and screws in on the rear edge using the same holes ar the front under cover. The splitter is 3 peaces (left right and center).

Goncalo,

I'm "old school" and prefer real wood veneer over carbon fiber or all piano black. To me, the swirls and colors of the gloss burl walnut are amazing and that wood looks great with the cashew and truffle leather.

Stuart, you have imppecable taste sir

Apart from the wood on the steering wheel, our cars are very similar.

I too prefer the leather tones to the more rash ones and wood rather than carbon, in a Jaguar. It just fits this car better, in my opinion.

Heres a picture of mine

As do you! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine. Your photo has more accurate colors of the cashew and truffle leather. Mine look a bit overexposed and too light, with the cashew looking almost like ivory.

If you want OEM any dealer should be able to order them. FYI the front spoiler/splitter is 3 peaces Left, Right, and center. They are held on with both existing screws on the bottom and 3M double stick tape on the leading edges. All except the center front will need to be painted.

The rear spoiler really isn't that expensive from Gaudin Jaguar online... a little over $250, but you may have to get it painted. Also, check with our forum sponsor SNG Barrat for a possible forum member discount.
