Maps and Backup Camera not loading

Maps and Backup Camera not loading

I've been having an issue with the maps and backup camera software not loading. After I've started the car the screen is black for the backup camera. When this happens the map view on the nav system is also black. They are always together in this. It seem to be an intermittent problem and pretty unpredictable. Has anyone else seen this?

I have a 2011 XJ with the map software a little dated. I haven't loaded the 2017 waiting for them to come out with the 2018 maps.
