Default My Idea of a 2014 XJ R-Sport

I am providing pictures, part numbers, and prices for anyone doing a search. All paint work was done by Jaguar Approved Body and Paint Center.
I would also like to thank all the forum members that answered my PMs.

My Build Inspiration (2016 XJR):

My Exterior Pictures:

BUILD SHEET:
I strongly suggest you shop around for the best price. I've posted the MSRP from one of the popular Jaguar on-line sites.

You nailed it! Very, very nice combination of aggressive yet not too over-the-top.

The only things I would do....

I'd (personally) take off the XJL and 5.0 badges from the boot and I'd consider some black wrap or accent painting on the lower rear valance. Specifically - I would "black out" the license plate alcove.

Are you saying you spent $20k to make your car look like an R sport? Did it start life as a 5 liter supercharged?

I appreciate all of your efforts making your car look as you want, but to my eye, the X351 shape is best suited to elegance and any attempts at making it more "sporty" looking with body add-ons, blacked-out wheels, de-chroming etc., twin exhaust tips, only serves to detract from the original striking design as penned. But to each his own. And this is of course IMHO.

Thank you Sir, I struggled so long with the whole rear emblem thing and simply decided to emulate the XJR except the "R".

No, I didn't spend $20k. I wanted to show the MSRP and part numbers for anyone searching. Yes, it is still a 5.0 supercharged.

Thank you for your honest opinion. You are so right, it took me about 3-years to fall for the whole "Black-Look". I said I would never do it, times change and so does taste. I think Jaguar took the right approach with such an OPEN mind on the XJ. You can get a V6 w/chrome that oozes elegance all the way up to the XJR that's "sporty" with body add-ons, black-out wheels, de-chroming etc,, twin exhaust tips. I mean what are you supposed to do with a 470-550HP sedan outside of the Sunday church trip lol.

Beautiful job!!! Where did you order the spoiler from? I want to get the spoiler and some quad exhaust tips for mine, but don't want to go with the full Mina setup.

I purchased the spoiler from SNG Barratt. They are a forum Vendor and give a discount to members.

Here is a thread on the tips and spoiler.

You show the updated LED head lights but they are not listed on your price list?
I added these to my 2014 XJR and really think they are a great update!
